A 1964 graduate of Berlin High School, Robert continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and met and married the love of his life, Diane Keating. Robert served his country in the United States Army in the 173rd Airborne division from 1966-1969 with a year of service in Vietnam. After his service, Robert and his wife, Diane, farmed from 1965 until 1985. Robert also worked as an inspector for the US Department of Agriculture until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. A Bronze Star, Purple Heart and combat badge recipient, Robert was a proud veteran and a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans. Robert passed away on August 15th, 2021. Along with his wife Diane, missing Robert are his children Tammy, Jeff and their spouses, grandchildren: great-grandchildren:; brothers and sisters-in-law: many nieces and nephews and many close friends.
